Dream About Being Shot In The Stomach? But Lived?

ok here goes: i dreamt that i was waiting with my family for a limousine to take us to the airport. a man picked us up and said there had been some confusion and he was assigned to drive us. i had a bad feeling about him and was suspicious.
we pulled over at a target to pick up some last minute items. i saw him walking down the side of an aisle when he said "i'm sorry i have to do this" and he pulled out a gun and shot my dad in the chest. he then shot me in the stomach, my sister in both legs, my mother in her hand and my oldest sister in her shoulder.
i looked down and my stomach was bleeding and i touched it. i felt the blood and the insides (it looked like bubba's stomach from forest gump)remember thinking to myself "its ok, i won't die. i'm alive. i will heal myself and everything will be ok. i'm alive." over and over again.
i dreamt that he was taken away and then the actual limo service came to pick us up. they asked us what happened and we said we got shot but everything was ok.
i thought to myself…what a weekend! i got shot and survived! then we all ended up together in a park, healed and singing.
i just want to know what it means to get shot in the stomach.and live. and why i thought the way i did.
