From Phuket International Airport, What Is The Best (budget & Safe) Way To Get To My Hotel On Patong Beach?
I know there are a few choices. I'm currently looking at limousine taxis (quite expensive) and minivans. How does the minivan service work? I'll be travelling with just my mum. Will just the two of us be able to take a minivan, or do we have to wait for a few others to fill up the van? What would the price be like for the minivan. Do we have to name a price before we enter or is there a meter in the minivan? How does the minivan look like (the colour,etc.) so we know how to look out for it. Please help. Thanks!

Go by minivan.
The price per passenger is fixed (depending on destination) and it doesn't leave until it is full. If you want to be only two in the minivan, you'd have to buy 10 tickets, so then limousine is cheaper.
You buy the ticket at a counter in the airport and do not pay anything to the driver.
