Uck. Why would you want to be like the girls on that show? They're some of the worst bits of humanity. There are so many better uses for money.

Most girls buy on clearance sale dresses at JCPenney's for their 8th grade graduation. Even their HS graduation, they don't do much. The thing is, you won't be able to see your dress because you'll have a robe on for most of the ceremony. I didn't get an 8th grade graduation at all, so it's not something to go all out and whatnot. Save it for your prom when people will actually care about your dress.

To answer your question, yes, that is way over the top. And people would think of you as a spoiled brat if you did that. Not a good way to make friends for High School. I should add that people only like those girls on My Super Sweet Sixteen to get invites to awesome parties and to catch some of the remnants of their money. Not because they are good, likable people. They complain a lot and always get what they want. Not something to like in a person. Plus, the editing the people at MTV do only amplifies this.

i say yes. a little bit. it all sounds like a lot of fun but expensive fun. i think that you should save pais and the limo for prom, or your next birthday. i just had my 8th grade grad. and it was hot in the gym and all we did was sit there. it wasnt really that big of a deal. so i would wait for your perfect dior or prada dress for prom when you can be seen by everyone and you will be the most envied on there.

-its nice that u think that its a big occasion, but its only grade 8.. this is something you shoudl wait until you graduate highschool or university, becuase you actually accomplished quite a bit during those years

IT isn't a big deal @ all OK ! you don't need to go crazy! plus you shouldn't get a Dior or Prada dress 4 it . do u know how much those cost! don't waste your money and time going to Paris for a dress! u r gonna b the only one there all dressed up and you will b embarrassed . your expecting it is gonna be a big thing but it really wont girl! you'll be fine if you just ware a not too overboard dress from like Macys or some thing. they have great dresses there!

if it was me i would save that for my sweet 16 or high school graduation…
