I have a wedding to go to, and both my date and I want to drink since it’s an open bar. I plan on going to both the wedding and reception; however, if we’re both drinking, neither of us can drive.
Either way, we would need a ride to the church, to the reception hall, and then back to the hotel (if we get one) or back home. Is a limo service too much?

I am getting married in acouple of weeks and I am thinking about getting a limo but my finace thinks it’s a waist of money for someone to drive us from the church to the resturant that we are having our family dinner. I would like to hear from you who have gotten married. How did you do the transportation from church to reception? Would you recommend getting a limo? or Should we drive on our own? I just don’t know about driving on our own because I don’t know of I want toget into a little car with my wedding dress : ( . Pleas help with any suggestions.

I am attending a wedding and have been asked by the groom to drive his car behind the two wedding cars as not everyone in the wedding party will fit into the two wedding cars.
The trip to the church will involve taking the groom’s brother and sister.
The trip to photos at the beach will involve taking the 3 bridesmaids who I wil then take to the reception.
My question is:
Should I open the car door for the kids and the bridesmaids, or just the bridesmaids or neither?
I’m thinking I should do it for everyone as a courtesy but as a wedding guest myself who is not being paid to do it, I wasn’t sure of the correct etiquette as I am not a limo driver.
Thanks

It’s not that I need one, gracious no! I can pop in anywhere I please. I’m just getting tired of the old “poof” routine. It’s becoming so yesterday.
It also lacks the making an entrance factor that you mortals seem to love so much. I’ll be attending some red carpet type functions soon and need something that really fits my personality. Classy, Sassy, and Riiiiich!
No limosines, please, anybody can rent-a-wreck!
Money is no object. Heavens!ahahahahahaha It’s not like I actually have to buy the damn thing. I’ll just whip it up myself! Anything goes, any make, any vintage…..

Prom Arrivals are really big at my high school. Almost the whole city comes to watch. Last year me and a few friends arrived in a nice convertable. But people always think of crazy things from floats to semi-trucks, and of course the traditional limosines. The theme is “Moonlight over Manhattan” any ideas?
