I Want A Limo For My Wedding -?

BUT I just can't justify the cost in renting one for 7 hours when all we need is someone to get us to/from the venue (the ceremony and reception will be at the same venue). Has anyone ever gotten around this by arranging for 2 separate one-way transports (have one limo company drop us at the wedding, and another to pick us up)?

A lot of times, people have the limo driver drop them off and come back at a designated time to pick them up. Please inquire if the company will do this for you, if not, find a company who will. There's no need to have the limo driver there for 7 hours just hanging around waiting, do nothing for your hard-earned money.
Also, see if you can get dressed at the venue since you're having the ceremony there. There may be no need for a limo at all.

I would start with calling some different limo companies and explaining what you're looking for. Just because they don't have what you want advertised, sometimes if you make them an offer, they'll be willing to work with you. Especially in this economy there might be some room to wiggle.
Another option might be splitting the cost with another couple. Like, if your wedding is in the afternoon, and another wedding might be in the evening, you can set up a schedule and split the cost. I'm getting married on a Friday and am splitting the cost of some decoration with the couple getting married the night after me. It saves everyone money. It might take a little leg work on your part, but an add on Craigslist or a mass email to your friends might do the trick.
Good luck!

It should be a routine call for a limo company to drop you off at a location and come back later to pick you up. The question is - how much time is in between. If there is not enough time for them to be able to schedule anything else in between your pick up times then you will be charged for the full length. But definitely call around and see what other offers / specials that people have.

Most places have a minimum flat rate so you will end up spending more if you try to get 2 co.

Maybe have rides for people home and such. So there is no drunk driving.
